🌰 Dahi Puri Recipe – Mumbai Style Chaat Bombs

Dahi Puri is a delicious Indian street chaat made with crispy puris filled with mashed potatoes, chutneys, curd, and flavorful spices. It’s sweet, spicy, tangy, and melts in your mouth — a true Mumbai-style treat!















🧾 Ingredients:

  •  Base:
  • 8–10 crisp puris (pani puri/golgappa puris)

  • 2 medium potatoes (boiled & mashed)

  • Salt to taste

  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala

🔸 Toppings:

  • 1/2 cup thick curd (whisked, slightly sweetened)

  • 2 tbsp green chutney (mint + coriander)

  • 2 tbsp tamarind chutney

  • 1 small onion (finely chopped)

  • 1 small tomato (optional, chopped)

  • 1 tbsp nylon sev

  • 1/2 tsp roasted cumin powder

  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder

  • Chopped coriander for garnish

  • Pomegranate seeds (optional, for sweetness)


👨‍🍳 Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Puris:
    Lightly crack each puri at the top to make space for filling.

  2. Stuffing:
    In each puri, add mashed potato with a pinch of salt and chaat masala.

  3. Add Chutneys & Curd:
    Add green chutney, tamarind chutney, and pour thick curd on top.

  4. Sprinkle & Garnish:
    Sprinkle red chili, roasted cumin powder, chopped onion, sev, and coriander.
    Top with pomegranate if using.


🍽️ Serve Immediately:

Dahi puri must be served immediately — before the puris get soggy! Eat in one bite for full chaat experience 😋
