🔥 Delicious Chole Bhature Recipe – Make It Just Like the Streets of Delhi!

 Craving that spicy and tangy Delhi-style **Chole Bhature**?  

 Here’s a simple recipe to make this iconic North Indian dish at home – soft, fluffy bhature served with   spicy chickpeas!

## 🧾 Ingredients:

### For Chole (Chickpea Curry):

- 1 cup white chickpeas (soaked overnight)

- 2 medium onions (finely chopped)

- 2 tomatoes (pureed)

- 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste

- 1 tsp chole masala (or garam masala)

- 1 tsp coriander powder

- ½ tsp turmeric powder

- ½ tsp red chili powder

- Salt to taste

- 2 tbsp oil

- Fresh coriander (for garnish)


### For Bhature:

- 2 cups all-purpose flour (maida)

- 2 tbsp semolina (sooji)

- ¼ cup curd (yogurt)

- ½ tsp baking powder

- Salt to taste

- Warm water (for kneading)

- Oil (for deep frying)

## 👨‍🍳 Instructions:

# 🔹 For Chole:

1. Pressure cook the soaked chickpeas with a pinch of salt for 5–6 whistles.

2. Heat oil in a pan, sauté chopped onions till golden.

3. Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

4. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.

5. Mix in turmeric, chili, coriander powder, chole masala, and salt.

6. Add the boiled chickpeas, mix well, and simmer for 10 minutes.

7. Garnish with fresh coriander.

### 🔹 For Bhature:

1. In a bowl, mix flour, semolina, salt, baking powder.

2. Add curd and knead into a soft dough using warm water.

3. Cover and rest for at least 2 hours.

4. Make small balls, roll them out, and deep fry in hot oil until puffed and golden

## 🥗 Serve With:

- Sliced onions and lemon wedges

- Green chutney or pickle (optional)
