Jam Jam Cookies – Easy Homemade Jam-Filled Biscuits
These homemade Jam Jam cookies are soft, buttery biscuits filled with your favorite fruit jam. A perfect treat for kids, tea-time, or special occasions — easy to make and super tasty!
🧾 Ingredients:

1½ cups all-purpose flour (maida)

½ cup unsalted butter (softened)

½ cup powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp milk (if needed)

¼ tsp baking powder

Pinch of salt
-
Fruit jam (strawberry or mixed fruit)

Powdered sugar (for dusting – optional)
👨🍳 Instructions:

Make the Dough:

In a bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy.

Add vanilla, then sift in flour, baking powder, and salt.

Mix and form a soft dough. Add 1 tbsp milk only if dry.

Wrap and chill in fridge for 15–20 minutes.

Shape the Cookies:

Roll dough to ¼ inch thickness.

Use round cutter to cut pairs of cookies.

For half the cookies, cut out a small hole in center (for jam window).

Bake:

Place on lined tray and bake at 170°C (340°F) for 10–12 minutes or until lightly golden.

Let cool completely.

Assemble with Jam:

Spread a little jam on bottom cookie and press the “hole” cookie on top.

Optional: Dust with powdered sugar.
